Martyn's Law - a Digital Solution for the Education Sector

Following the awful terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena back in 2017, Parliament has passed a new law in the memory of one of its victims - Martyn Hett. It requires that all public spaces and venues - including schools and colleges - prepare a robust practical strategy to cope with any emergency events that may happen in the future.

Signs Now, through its subsidiary, Digital Sign Solutions, has recently worked with a school in Wolverhampton to install a number of digital screens around the school and to install a specialist software package - as a part of the schools response to the requirements of Martyn's Law. It ensures that the school complies with the legislation and fulfils the duty of care it owes to its students and staff.
