Task Consumer Products commissioned Signs Now to produce and install a comprehensive signage solution across two sites in Wolverhampton: Skyline and their latest development, Citygate.
The scope of works was designed to deliver maximum visibility, durability and visual impact, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality aesthetic across both locations.
The Client
Task Consumer Products Ltd is a UK-based manufacturer of paper products including toilet tissue, kitchen towels and away-from-home paper products.
With a growing customer base across the UK’s retail and industrial sectors, the company is investing heavily in its two Wolverhampton facilities to strengthen its operational capacity, and wanted signage to showcase its modern, professional brand.
The Project
The project for Task included wayfinding and traffic signage manufactured with Class 2 reflective backgrounds to ensure compliance, enhanced legibility and long-term performance in low-light and high-traffic environments.
Additional elements included main entrance feature signs and building-mounted signage, strategically positioned to strengthen Task’s site presence and brand recognition.
The primary feature signage consisted of built-up aluminium tray signs with halo illumination, mounted on concrete floor-standing pillars for strength and permanence. Lettering was produced in polished and satin-brushed stainless steel, and each character was individually halo-illuminated to create extra depth, contrast and night-time impact.
Directional signage was fabricated using stencil-cut illuminated lettering, combined with halo perimeter lighting to clearly define the sign face and improve visibility from distance and at varying approach angles. This lighting method enhances wayfinding clarity while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance.
All the signage we create is supplied with a 5-year warranty, giving clients long-term assurance on materials and workmanship, while the integrated LED illumination is rated for a minimum lifespan of 70,000 hours - equivalent to over 20 years of typical dusk-to-dawn operation.
The long LED lifespan reduces running costs and minimises the need for replacements or callouts, while consistent illumination levels ensure the signage continues to deliver impact and visibility year after year.
