From across three campuses, they offer a diverse curriculum including academic, vocational and life skills, providing BTEC and GCSE courses as well as Functional skills qualifications.
The Project
Syon College needed to replace their old hoardings ready for the new academic year, Placed in high-traffic areas at the front of the building, these large outdoor advertising boards are an important advertising tool for education providers. They help to increase visibility and build brand awareness, supporting student recruitment and community engagement.
Solution and Installation
Outdated branding, cluttered visuals and poor quality materials can make hoardings more of an eyesore than an advertising tool, so it is essential to get them right. As experts in hoardings, as well as all types of external and internal signage, Signs Now's experienced team were able to remove all their old hoardings and seamlessly replace them with new professional hoardings in high quality durable materials - with a gloss finish - which were carefully fitted to the front and sides of the building. The project was completed in Summer 2025, in plenty of time for the start of the new school year, and the college's updated logo and branding - combined with the quality of the hoardings - create a positive view of the college for anyone passing by.
Our verdict
Bill Dunohy, Signs Now's Managing Director, said, "While hoardings can be an important part of advertising in many industries, they are especially important for the UK education sector, playing a key role in showcasing n organisation's key messages and recruiting new students."
Since hoardings are especially large, they can affect the look and feel of the wider area, so it is important that they are designed, manufactured and fitted professionally. The designs provided by the marketing department of the college were superb and we enjoyed working with the college team."
