With so many visitors attending on a weekly basis, it’s particularly important for churches and religious venues to have clear, welcoming signage. It helps visitors find their way, conveys a warm first impression, reflects the church’s identity and ensures accessibility for both newcomers and regular attendees. Here’s a project we recently completed for Hope Church in Wales.
Summary
A contemporary Pentecostal church in a rural Welsh town sought out elegant new internal signage which would complement the unique and modern character of their building.
The Client
Hope Church is a vibrant Pentecostal church based in Newtown, Mid Wales. As well as running Sunday worship services, the church plays an integral role within the local community. They regularly run coffee mornings and activities for children and teens, while their facilities are available for venue hire including community events, business conferences and weddings.
The Project
Their goal was to design and install a range of internal signage that matched the elegance of their impressive building. The church wanted a high-end, contemporary solution that complemented the modern character of the space while providing clear wayfinding for visitors.
With multiple rooms used for a variety of purposes, directional signage was key. Hope Church was particularly drawn to a wooden finish, and Signs Now collaborated closely with their team, producing several samples to refine and perfect the final design.
Our Verdict
The finished installation included brushed stainless steel lettering and bespoke wooden signs guiding visitors seamlessly to areas such as the Welcome Desk, Auditorium and Guest Lounge, delivering a warm, welcoming and professional visual experience throughout.
