Flagship amusement arcade launches with standout signage
Leading experiential leisure operator Gravity partnered with Signs Now to install vibrant, eye-catching signage at its flagship entertainment venue, Gravity Arcade, at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Dartford, Kent.
The client
Gravity is the UK’s leading immersive and active entertainment brand. In 2024 it launched its latest concept, Gravity Arcade, at Bluewater Shopping Centre. Gravity Arcade is a hub for entertainment that blends classic arcade favourites with modern gaming attractions. The venue appeals to families, groups of friends and serious gamers alike, offering a wide variety of activities in a social and engaging space.
The project
Gravity approached Signs Now for help with custom-made interior and exterior signage ahead of the opening of its first Gravity Arcade.
They wanted futuristic and dynamic signage and wall and window vinyls to draw in visitors and create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
With the venue expected to receive high footfall and draw in visitors of all ages, the interior artwork needed to not only be stylish but practical and durable.
Solution and installation
The Signs Now design team collaborated with colleagues at Gravity to create a comprehensive signage and vinyl plan, beginning with in-depth consultations and a site survey to understand their requirements.
Our designers crafted preliminary concepts and produced multiple samples for their approval.
We then used an experienced installation crew to fit the external signage to the entrance and the artwork to the walls inside.
We created a number of innovative signage features. Aluminium trays with LED rimless built-up 3D letters deliver an eye-catching, illuminated effect in keeping with the venue’s cutting-edge vibe.
Full-face illuminated soft internal signage enhances the indoor experience, providing both style and functional visibility.
A full vinyl wrap of the internal walls ties the arcade’s design together, creating an immersive environment for visitors.
