Summary
A long-standing client, Collins Aerospace, required updated reception signage following a marginal rebrand, including the addition of RTX subtext to their existing identity.
The Client
Formerly known as HS Marston, Collins Aerospace is now part of RTX and is a global leader in aerospace and defence technologies. The organisation, which is headquartered in North Carolina, USA, also includes Goodrich as part of its wider group structure.
Signs Now has supported Collins Aerospace and its predecessor businesses for over two decades, providing both internal and external signage solutions.
The Project
This particular project focused on the refurbishment of the site’s main reception area. The existing reception signage was removed by the client to make way for a refreshed installation that aligned with updated brand guidelines.
As part of this partial rebrand, the new specification required the addition of RTX subtext beneath the main logo, along with a material finish that reflected the organisation’s established visual identity.
Signs Now manufactured and installed brushed stainless steel lettering which was mounted on stand-off fixings to create a clean and contemporary reception feature.
The material choice was specified to align with Collins Aerospace branding guidelines and ensure a premium, durable finish suitable for a high-traffic corporate environment.
The project was delivered with a turnaround of approximately three to four weeks including fabrication, with installation completed in around half a day to minimise disruption on site.
