The project aimed to enhance the visual appeal and prominence of the Bingley Little Theatre in West Yorkshire, near Bingley Conservation Area. Outdated signs were replaced with bold, vibrant new signage reflecting the theatre's updated branding and improving its visibility. Collaboration between theatre representatives, designers, community members, and local authorities ensured the signage complemented the area’s architectural heritage. The signage featured a wide-format building wrap across the south, west, and north elevations, with fascia signs and a digital screen on the west side. The project utilised over 145 full-size aluminium composite panels, printed in vibrant full colour to wrap the building. Advanced technology, such as Canon’s latest flatbed printer equipped with FLXflow technology and UV-LED curable inks, was employed to ensure top-quality results throughout the installation. Despite challenges from the building’s asymmetry and corrugated cladding, the project was completed flawlessly in three weeks. The project exceeded expectations, drawing positive attention from the community and media, and establishing Bingley Theatre as a local cultural landmark. Winning the Best Wide-Format Award would honour the team’s dedication and the theatre's enhanced role in the community
