Leading vaccine company CSL Seqirus saw its Liverpool auditorium transformed with a giant photo of the Albert Dock to impress visitors from overseas, thanks to Signs Now. If you look carefully at this image you will see, near the centre, the double doors leading into the room. This gives you some idea of the scale of graphics that were printed and installed.
The client
CSL Seqirus is one of the world's largest influenza vaccine companies. It has a state-of-the-art vaccine manufacturing facility in Liverpool and its global headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Signs Now has carried out work for the firm for more than 15 years and is a partner of its current facilities management company, CBRE.
The project
The latest project was carried out on behalf of CBRE for CSL Seqirus.
CSL Seqirus had a number of important visitors coming from Australia to its Liverpool site to present in the auditorium. The company’s team were keen to make an impression and to show their roots in the Merseyside area.
CSL Seqirus asked Signs Now to design and install new wall art for its auditorium. They wanted it to be modern, eye-catching and unique to the building.
Solution and installation
Our team collaborated with colleagues at CSL Seqirus to create a comprehensive plan for the wall display, beginning with in-depth consultations to understand their needs and preferences.
Signs Now visited the Liverpool facility to conduct a site survey and ensure the correct measurements were taken before the manufacture of any vinyls.
Our designers crafted preliminary concepts, balancing functionality and visual appeal. We produced a range of different design ideas, getting the final one approved before proceeding.
We took a very high-resolution photo of Albert Dock at twilight and printed that photo onto a specialist wall vinyl, covering 182 square metres.
We then used an experienced installation crew to apply the vinyl to the walls of the auditorium, carefully fitting it around the doors.
Client Assessment
Signs Now has worked with Seqirus for many years and worked on a number of different projects during that time. This was the most challenging. First of all, there was a very tight deadline to be met ahead of the arrival of the VIPs. Secondly, there was the challenge of finding a photographic image which could be exploded into a size way above its original size and still keep a quality resolution. Finally there was the challenge of covering all of the walls of the auditorium with the printed vinyl image.
