This fancy dress shop was established on the Pershore Road in Birmingham – a busy route for traffic which was bound to bring a great deal of traffic past the new shop.
It was crucial for the proprietor that this new business made an immediate impact.

As a fancy dress shop the proprietor felt that she needed a striking fun image. In particular she wanted the business to look like the entrance to a theatre.

In the first example shown below we showed what the shop would look like with more conventional sign – large foamex signs housed in an aluminium frame. The cost of such work would be approximately £1000.

In the second example we proposed stand off 3-D letters, a 3-D star, and some bright window graphics. The cost of this option was around £3000.

The proprietor chose the more expensive option and she has been delighted to see her business get off to a flying start. The business has quickly become a well-known landmark in this part of the town.

There are not many sign-makers who have the in-house design skills to propose such an option and there are not many sign-makers who have the in-house technology to put such stylish ideas into practise.
