In this example we have had to combine digital 4 colour printed graphics with solid colour vinyl graphics. Due to the design both sets of graphics are produced using a "cast" vinyl film. This is as it has to conform to the contours and panel grooves in the vehicle. Using a lower specification material would result in cracking and flaking of the vinyl within a short period of time leading to a poor quality job. The printed graphics are suitable for outdoor conditions and have an expected life of approximately 3-5 years depending upon conditions.
