Signs Now Shropshire : Hooty's

The sheer size of this sign presented us with many manufacturing problems but the finished article proved very pleasing. The yellow and blue background sections are made from aluminium composite which are folded to form a 50mm return to the sign. This allows us to reinforce the sign from the back and to also fix it without showing any face fixings, which as well as being unsightly, affect the performance of the sign. All the letters are computer cut from 5mm thick acrylic and stood off from the sign body using "secret" fixings. Two identical signs were manufactured, one for each end of the building.
